every day was a wreck when you were around
you picked up all of our mess, shunned us, and put us down
and you think you're supposed to go somewhere in a calvinistic way
follow the marijuana vapor to your doom and cause dismay all day
and for all the times i feel like i wanna be alone
it seldom seems like i'm at home
and every day i feel like i lose a bone
but they'll be molded in two years
and goddamn it feels good to be alive
turbulence makes my head spin
and it makes your head spin too
when we get out of this clashing
maybe you'll stay dizzy too
you'll keep your mouth shut and play the role of a friend
but when my back is turned that mask shows hollowness
cause liberty is so great when you're a bigot dope
keep all of your thoughts inside your head and shut up when you come home
i just feel like i can't be me
but i don't know what i am so i just play along
cause pretending that it's better
seems to be better than feeling like shit
but goddamn it feels so good to be alive
when the prices are low and the economy thrives
turbulence makes my head spin
and it makes your head spin too
when we get out of this clashing
maybe you'll stay dizzy too

At that time, I was discovering many kinds of Asian shoegaze, but I've never heard anything like this. Makes me think of Pasteboard, Supecar, and Midnight Pingpong a bit, and it's funny bc the first two I listen have blue album covers too. Lu
